6 very valid reasons why we want(again) Boris on TV, "come on, come on, come on!""

It has created the myth of the damned bitch and it has shaped the nightmares of all the interns: after many years, Boris remains unequalled

by Francesca D'Angelo

Fans do nothing but repeat it: the drama Boris must get back on air. And it's hard to blame them: few Italian series (indeed, none) boast that intelligence and that irony demonstrated by the cult series of the group Fox, then aired also in clear on the channel Cielo. In the early Boris has indeed imposed as a veritable television phenomenon, promoting catchphrases and new stars. Among these, we especially adore these six ones....

1

The Dai, dai, dai (come on, come on, come on) by René

For many his "dai, dai, dai!" (come on, come on, come on!) has became a motto, not to say a philosophy of life. But of René, the irresistible director of Gli occhi del cuore (The eyes of the heart), like everything: his style of direction "alla cazzo di cane" (to fucking dog) (his words), the frankness with which he judges the (poor) quality of his work, as well as his unconditional love for the goldfish Boris. Moreover, thanks to him, Francesco Pannofino has become a more known character and not only "the one who lends his voice to George Clooney".

2

Corinna: the era of the "damned bitch"

With her a new category of actresses has born: after the good ones and the ones little in part, come the damned bitches, Rome's dialect expression to indicate the recommended and untalented performers. Obviously we are talking about the character Corinna and not about Carolina Crescentini that, besides being very good, has shown a lot of self irony. Among the most exhilarating scenes, the endless sequence during which Corinna can not pronounce the word jeweler.

3

The slave intern

Before the recession, before the boom of precarious youth (the real one), there was him: Alessandro, the slave intern of Boris, who was not even worthy of having a surname. He has given voice and body to all the frustrations of the interns of the world, desecrating the mortifications with a laughter. His interpreter (very good!) is Alessandro Tiberi and has made a career: soon protagonist of the drama Lontano da te (Away from you), he has played the movie Immaturi (Immatures) and the series Tutto può succedere (Anything could happen - Original format: Parenthood).

4

Stanis must not die

It's the title of an episode of the series, in turn ironically inspired by the movie Misery non deve morire (Misery), but also the expression that sums up well the character: Pietro Sermonti, in a scoundrel and comedian version, is irresistible.. Even more than the doctor Guido Zanin, played by the actor in Medico in famiglia (A Doctor in the Family - Original format: Médico de familia). Sermonti must have understood it because, from Boris on, has relied on irony. Among his most successful movies the saga of Smetto quando voglio (I Can Quit Whenever I Want) and the provocative Terapia di coppia per amanti (Couple therapy for lovers).

5

The mystical crises of Mariano

Corrado Guzzanti has always had a weakness for santons and Zen gurus, but in Boris has exceeded himself. In the second season he plays Mariano: a violent actor and mentally disturbed, that feels inspired by the figure of Father Frediani. When he finds out that are writing a TV series about his beloved priest, he wants to quit Gli occhi del cuore (The eyes of the heart). Outside the set, instead, the fellowship between Boris and Guzzanti went on: with the author of the drama Mattia Torre Guzzanti has created the experimental series Dov'è Mario? (Where is Mario?), for Sky.

6

The redemption of Caterina Guzzanti

Boris has done justice to Caterina Guzzanti: the younger sister of the Guzzanti family, often overshadowed by Corrado and Sabina. Thanks to the character of Arianna, the actress redeems herself: is credible in the role of the assistant of René and hers love story with the intern conquers the public. After Boris she has played in the series Come fai, sbagli (How you do it, you're wrong - Original format: Fais pas ci, fais pas ça).
